The San Antonio Mustang Club was formed in 1980 by a group of local enthusiasts  interested in the preservation and enjoyment of this American classic. The club has since grown to include late model Mustangs as well as other collectible and specialty Ford-powered vehicles.  Some of the founding members are still active today and lasting friendships have been formed through the club's social atmosphere. Additionally, the San Antonio Mustang Club is a chartered member of the Mustang Club of America. SAMC organizes activities such as parades, swap meets, drag racing, autocrossing, road rallies, technical clinics, various social events and car shows. Club members participate in activities put on by other local car clubs as well.

Meetings are held once a month, on the first Wednesday, at Porky's 4511 NW Loop 410 78229 starting time 7:30 p.m.

Annual membership is $15 for individuals or $20 for families (there is an additional initiation fee of $10 for new members). Your membership includes a subscription to the Club's official newsletter, "Hoofprints".
