NEW MEMBERS are always welcome. You do not have to own a Mustang to be a member and enjoy the benefits our club has to offer. Being a Charter Member of the Mustang Club Of America we stay up to date on most things related to the Mustang hobby. Someone in our club has or can find the answer to most Mustang related questions that come up. Attend one of our Club events and maybe even sign up!

Make sure you check the new blog pages. Blog’s allow us to share the latest news and information about the San Antonio Mustang Club and the world of the Ford Mustang. Club members will be able to add comments and new content to blog’s very soon. Some members have knowledge of how blog’s work but I believe that quite a few members will need some help. If there is enough members interested in learning how to add there own content in our blog page we may setup a class before a monthly meeting.

2014 San Antonio Mustang Club Charity Carshow

carshowlogoSave open the day of October 26, 2014 for San Antonio biggest Open Car Show event of the year.  For more details see the 2014carshow page by using side menu. You can also contact car show personal at Please notice there have been several updates, New Car Classes, New Sponsor Categories, New Pricing and other refinements to our car show are also being implemented. For this years show all judges will be required to either have a history of proven judging skills or they must attend the Miguel Rosario School of Judging! Last year, Miguel conducted 1 large class and the improvements were immediately recognized. To my knowledge, we only had 2 complaints about last years judging. One was determined to be without merit and the other was by one of the few judges who had not taken the training. Compared to previous years this is a giant leap forward, we want to continue that momentum! In addition, new parking procedures and vendor placement should make this years show completely complaint free. Registration will also be joining the 21st century with a computerized registration program that will printout the participants cards. We will need volunteers for Judging, Parking, Registration, Membership Table, Set up and Clean Up. Prior to the show, we will need volunteers to solicit goodie bag stuffers, door prizes, sponsors and just get the word out! Even more important, register your car for the show, you can register for Club members display only for $30, you will get a participation trophy, a T-Shirt and Goodie bag or for $10 less Display only with none of the above or you can even sign up to be judged just like a regular participant. The choice is yours!
starAs in years past, you can order your magnetic name tag with our club logo on it. You can email your order to with the name you want on the tag(s), along with the address to which you want it returned. The price is $7.04 including tax for each tag. Conrad Klahn mom is selling her '65 Mustang Fastback. She'd like to get 25k for it, but I know she would take lower for the right person, as she is selling it to help pay for my son (her grandson) college tuition. > '65 Mustang Fastback A Code > 289 2bl - 3 speed Hurst shifter > Tropical Turqoise with Black Interior Drives very well. Engine rebuilt (Charlies Engine in New Braunfels, blueprinted) and Trans rebuilt (Kendrick), Rearend rebuilt (Nogalitos), driveshaft was balanced, dual exhaust using factory manifolds, very low miles. Many new parts when she had it 'restored'. I put a Flaming River box in to replace the original. We had work done at Alamo Mustang, but some things never got squared away like the window regulators. Clear title in my mom’s name. > Exterior is a 7 (10 from 10 feet) > Interior is a 9 > Engine is a 9 (though the paint has deteriorated, dusty) > Trans is a 9 (clutch needs adjusting) > Rearend is a 9 > Drum brakes, 4 leaf rear spring, 14” wheels with Toyo tires. We have all the history and records of what was spent on it going back to when we pulled it out of a field in ’82. Anyone interested is welcome to email me. My parents are older and don’t mind tire kickers but would prefer no joy riders. They can email me for more pictures. Thanks, Conrad IMG_1534 IMG_1536 IMG_1540
