After spending a year looking for a classic car that I could enjoy as a weekend driver I acquired my 66 Mustang on November 10th, 2000 from Auto Mania a local auto dealer of classic cars and performance hotrod's . My father was a Ford man and I guess he pass this to my brothers and I. We had previous owned an 1967 Fastback ,1969 Mach One, and 1983 GT Mustang so buying the 66 Mustang Convertible was no surprise considering  having my Father genes.

This convertible is one of 72,119 built in for 1966 with a $2653.00 sticker price. It is mostly factory Stock with a few upgrades done to engine and exhaust system. The 289 V8 was bored .030 over with addition of Edelbrock 500 cfm 4-Vcarb, Edelbrock Performer manifold and Pertronix electronic ignition. The exhaust has been upgraded to dual 3" pipes with Flowmaster 50 series Delta Flow mufflers.

One of the deciding factor of buying this Mustang was having the optional 4-speed Borg Warner T-10 transmission. The interior is standard black, with doors painted with exterior candy apple red.

Planed additions:  Upgrade braking system to front disk brakes with dual master cylinder
                            Upgrade steering system
                            Upgrade exhaust with headers
                            Upgrade wheels and tires
