My passion for Mustangs started when the car first arrived to Mexico in October of 1964. My dad used to tell me that he liked it a lot but since we had a big family we needed a four door sedan so he bought a falcon. I always thought of one day owning a Mustang when I had the money to do it.

One day my little sister came up to me and asked me if I wanted to buy her 1979 mustang Ghia v8 coupe. I bought it but was never able to enjoy it because the car was in California and I live in Mexico. After a while of owning this Mustang I decided to sell the car to my brother .

When my oldest son developed the same interest in cars specially in the pony car we decided to find one that would be our father and son project. We started looking in the paper and we found one that was close to our house. After looking at the Mustang we saw that it had good possibilities of being restored so we bought it and took it home right away.

After 2 or 3 months of owning the car the long and expensive restoration process started. One year and two body shops later the Mustang was ready on the outside. The interior was kept all original (the car still has the original carpet headliner and upholstery). After all that hard work we started getting parts to keep the car as original as possible.

As soon as we finished with the major work needed we joined the Mustang Club De Mexico in Mexico city which has more than 200 registered members. While being a part of that club we attended several car shows rallies and parades with them until we moved to San Antonio.

In 2003 we arrived in San Antonio with the car diving it all the way from Mexico City, we are currently proud members of the San Antonio Mustang Club and have been part of shows such as the Autorama at the Alamodome.
