This is the tag on Tom Bader’s 2005 mustang GT. The car was built on Tuesday,
September 13, 2005 in Flat
Rock Michigan. Which is where all current mustangs are now built? After
searching Ford Dealerships in San
Antonio looking for his dream car, Tom took a road trip north stopping at
Dealerships along the way. He finally
found the car he wanted at Five Star Ford in Oklahoma City. Agreeing on a price,
which took most of the day,

Tom had keys and title in hand on December 1, 2005.
The GT is Mineral Gray with Dark Charcoal
Leather, V-8 Engine putting out 300 horsepower
and 320 lbs of torque, 5-speed Transmission,
and a 3.55 geared rear end. It has a
500 watt AM/FM 6CD/MP3 Stereo, Anti-theft
System, upgraded IUP dash, and side air bags.
All of the above is stock from the factory.
Now that it has a few miles, Tom has started to
add his own personnel touches. He has added
a Tri-axle Shifter, sequence tail lights, shock
tower brace, and gas struts for raising the
hood. Tom also lowered the car 1.5 in. in the
front and 1.25 in. in the rear. He had the stock
aluminum rims wheels powder coated black
chrome and replaced the stock tires with larger
255-50 17’s. The front bumper and hood edge
has been treated with an X-pel Bra, a small pin
stripe to break up the body line, and Saleen
rear quarter windows. The engine is still stock
for now, but changes are planned. So I guess,
if you love mustangs, you can say it is
“2Wish4”.

Tom got involved with Mustangs about 20 years ago. He joined the Heart of Dixie
Mustang Club in Montgomery,
Al. As time passed he became president, next thing he knew Tom was invited to
become a board member for the
Mustang Club of America. Tom served on the board for 4 years. Tom was certified
as a gold card judge for late
models and modified cars. Over the years Tom has had four totally different
mustangs. His first was a 1985 GT,
which after buying all the parts from Saleen Motor Sports, he built his our
personnel Saleen. This car was feature
in different Mustang magazines in 1990. His next car was a 1985 Coupe which was
converted from a 4 cylinder to
a 13 sec street car. Next was a ASC McLaren which he first bought for Vicki and
is still in the family.
He’s left it
stock, (hard to change a good thing). So for now the garage has a 1988 Mustang (ASC
McLaren), a 2005
Mustang GT,
and a 1993 F-150 Lightning.
